Therefore, one may use only natural, unenriched rice for Pesach, ideally a rice with a reliable <i>Kosher l\u2019Pesach L\u2019ochlei Kitniyot hechsher<\/i>.<span id=\"footnote-008-backlink\"><a href=\"#footnote-008\">2<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Those who refrain from eating legumes on Pesach are permitted to keep them at home; there is no need to sell legumes to a non-Jew.<span id=\"footnote-007-backlink\"><a href=\"#footnote-007\">3<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>It is the Sephardic custom to use egg matzah (\u05de\u05e6\u05d4 \u05e2\u05e9\u05d9\u05e8\u05d4) during Pesach. This type of matzah cannot be used to fulfill the obligation of eating matzah on the first two nights of Pesach. The <i>bracha<\/i> <a id=\"_idIndexMarker000\"><\/a>recited on egg matzah is <i>Mezonot<\/i>.<span id=\"footnote-006-backlink\"><a href=\"#footnote-006\">4<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>If one inadvertently cooked with a non-Pesach pot on Pesach, as long as 24 hours had passed from the time <i>chometz<\/i> was last cooked in it, <i>bedi\u2019eved,<\/i> the food is permissible for Sephardim.<span id=\"footnote-005-backlink\"><a href=\"#footnote-005\">5<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Sephardim have no custom to be concerned regarding <i>gebrokts<\/i>.<span id=\"footnote-004-backlink\"><a href=\"#footnote-004\">6<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Sephardim only refrain from eating matzah on Erev Pesach. However, if one made a mistake and ate matzah on Erev Pesach, he needs to recite <i>Birchat Hamazon<\/i>. A person may eat matzah on the night of the fourteenth of <i>Nisan<\/i>.<span id=\"footnote-003-backlink\"><a href=\"#footnote-003\">7<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Even though a person may eat fruit, vegetables and rice on Erev Pesach, after the tenth hour of day he should not eat so much as to become full. It is forbidden to eat egg matzah after this time.<span id=\"footnote-002-backlink\"><a href=\"#footnote-002\">8<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>It is the custom among Sephardic communities for women to fulfill the mitzvah of reclining (\u05d4\u05e1\u05d9\u05d1\u05d4) at the Seder. However, if a woman did not recline while she ate or drank she has still fulfilled her obligation and it is not necessary for her to eat or drink again.<span id=\"footnote-001-backlink\"><a href=\"#footnote-001\">9<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>It is crucial to recline while fulfilling the <i>mitzvot<\/i> of drinking the four cups of wine and eating matzah. Therefore, a man who did not recline while drinking wine at the Seder must drink another cup while reclining.
