For products sold outside the USA, contact the local kashrus agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25baThe list is a small sample of frequently used over-the-counter (OTC) medications. Prescription medications are generally not included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25baIf a medication is not listed, it may still be kosher. One should consult a <em>rav<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25baCertifying agencies are indicated next to products that have kosher certification. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EXTREMELY IMPORTANT:<\/strong> It is imperative that each individual understands that <strong>under no circumstances should one refrain from taking a prescribed medication or withhold such a medication from children without discussing the matter with a competent <em>rav <\/em>and\/or physician.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STAR-K Certified Companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For a list of <strong>companies that produce kosher certified vitamins, nutritional supplements and over-the-counter products<\/strong> \u2013 which are certified only when bearing the STAR-K symbol \u2013 click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.star-k.org\/listings\/product&amp;id=XBGZXK65\">here<\/a>. The list of certified companies will display. Simply click on the company name to review their kosher certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional kosher vitamins and supplements certified by various kashrus agencies are available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.koshervitamins.com\/\">koshervitamins.com<\/a>.
