KITCHENAID ALERT

I.      Ovens:    Please be advised that, until further notice, Star-K has removed certification from the following KitchenAid Built-in Double Ovens, as there is a problem with the Sabbath Mode.  When you adjust the temperature, the time display changes.

II.    Refrigerators:      Please be advised that several Star-K certified KitchenAid refrigerators have a problem where the interior lights go on when both the refrigerator and freezer doors are open at the same time.  As of now, the models we know about are the KSSS48FTX, and the KSSS48FMX.   There may be others with this problem as well.  Check your model before Shabbos/YomTov to ascertain.  (These are 48” built-ins.)
